
Robert G. LaMontagne is an attorney concentrating in Chapter 7 & 13 Bankruptcies, plus litigation against debt collectors for their unlawful behavior. Before becoming an attorney Robert experienced life as a professional firefighter for the city of North Charleston, South Carolina for more than thirteen years and received many awards for his professionalism and service. Robert also served in the first Gulf War where he was in Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Kuwait. Following the Gulf War he attended college at Lenoir Rhyne and graduated with his degree in Political Science/Pre-law. While attending law school at Ohio Northern School of Law he concentrated on bankruptcy and did an intern with the local chapter seven trustee. He graduated from Ohio North School of Law in 2003. While attending law school Robert was an exchange student with the law school in Iceland. He traveled to Iceland and was introduced to their culture and laws. He is admitted to practice in all North Carolina state courts plus the middle and western district Federal Courts, including Federal Bankruptcy Court.
Due to Robert’s military and previous work experiences he can understand and relate to your difficulties. That is why he is dedicated to helping the debtors and not the big business creditors. Robert has never represented the big creditors and never will. He will work specifically for you and help you keep your home and possessions.
